hi Poppy, this cutie is a 3 year old Havanese. She came to us from a breeding farm in Lancaster they were downsizing how many dogs they wanted to keep. Poppy came to us extremely scared and nervous. Luckily, she was quickly scooped up by our volunteer groomer and she has been decompressing in his care ever since. Poppy is very dog friendly and is looking specifically for a home with another social, friendly dog (or two!). The dog companionship truly helps her to open up and build up her courage. She is looking for a more quiet home that will give her lots of time and allow her to come to the family on her own terms. Joe, the foster dad, reports that that as long as the family goes slow with her, she is wonderful.
