Little dogs tend to get adopted really quickly but for some reason, Jack Russell Terriers always have a hard time and stay with us much longer than any other small breed dog. Lucy is one of those dogs. She spent 8 long years being chained up on a farm and is now a long term resident with us, waiting already 3 months for her forever home. She is a perfect little lady and goes to all of our adoption events because she is just that good and sweet. We just know there is a perfect home out there for her hi Lucy! This lovely girl is a 8 year old Jack Russell Terrier. She was surrendered to us from a Lancaster farmer when she was no longer wanted. We were told she was not a breeder but she was left chained up outside to a doghouse. Lucy is leaving her hard past behind her and is loving her new freedom! She is the cutest, sweetest little girl. All of our volunteers report that she is a sweetheart and a total lovebug. She is really enjoying every pet, kind word and all the attention she is getting now. She has been absolutely perfect in our care allowing all handling. She would prefer to be the only dog at home. She will come spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and 4dx tested. She also had a dental.
