This handsome little guy has the looks to turn heads, but it's his gentle spirit that will truly capture your heart. Wicket came to ACCT Philly alongside 11 other dogs after their owner sadly passed away. In an instant, the life he knew disappeared, leaving him unsure of what comes next. While all of the recent changes have been overwhelming, Wicket is doing his best to navigate this new chapter and learn that he is safe. Like many dogs from his prior home, Wicket can be timid and nervous in new environments. He is still building confidence and learning how to handle things like leash walking and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Beneath that uncertainty, however, is a sensitive dog who wants to trust and connect with the people around him. Wicket is looking for a patient, loving home that will give him the time he needs to adjust and grow. A quiet household would be ideal, and because he is still working through his fears, a home without young children is preferred. Wicket would especially love a home with another friendly, social dog who can help show him the ropes and provide reassurance as he learns that the world isn't such a scary place.
