Meet our good girl Wanda. Found tied to fence by railroad, Wanda was brought to our local animal control shelter by a Good Samaritan. Knowing our soft spot for German Shepherds, they quickly reached out to us for help. Wanda is almost 6 years old and the bestest girl - we have no idea why anyone would abandon her. She has done very well with us on her handling, walks well on the leash, is curious and inquisitive in the play yards. She is smart and sweet. She has been gentle with us. One family will be incredibly lucky to adopt her. She is being overlooked due to her age but we know she has a wonderful heart full of love and is ready to give it all to her new family. Wanda needs to meet any resident dogs.
