hi Susan! This pretty girl is a 6 year old English Springer Spaniel. She was surrendered from a breeding farm when she aged out of having puppies. Susan clearly has led a really hard life so far. She came to us absolutely terrified. We have been allowing her plenty of decompression time so she can slowly come to terms with her newfound freedom and realize she is safe now. She is getting better with us and allows handling but she is looking for experienced dog owners and an adult only home. She is easy on the leash and follows our lead very well but flinches / gets nervous when there is a hand over her head. Susan really needs a calm, quite home where she can overcome the trauma she experienced. She needs a family that will understand she will need a lot of time and will go with her at her own speed. Susan would prefer to be an only animal at home. Susan will come spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and 4dx tested.
