hi Simba, this cutie is a 4 year old mixed breed. Simba was surrendered to the local animal control shelter when he was no longer wanted by his family. He is about 9 lbs. Simba's previous family reported that he was friendly and active boy. Sadly, since having his life uprooted and turned upside down, Simba has been struggling a bit. He does not seem to be very used to a leash and is leery of it. While our volunteers are able to handle him, we are taking it slow and allowing him lots of time and space as he slowly gets used to his new surroundings. He is looking for a patient home that understands small dog spiciness and will allow him to come around on his own terms. Having a social dog at home would be huge help for him. He would need to meet any resident dogs. Because of his nervousness, he would prefer a home with no children at this time.
