Meet Sassy Sassy is a tiny 20‑lb, 3‑month‑old puppy with a gentle heart and so much love to give. Born to a shepherd mix mama, she came to ACCT Philly alongside her mom and brother before quickly transferring into our care so her wonky eye could be evaluated and monitored. This little girl may start off a bit shy, but it doesn’t take long for her sweet personality to shine through. Sassy is a total love bug who enjoys cuddles, quiet companionship, and soaking up affection once she feels safe. She absolutely adores kids and other dogs, and her calm, easygoing nature makes her a wonderful little companion. While she enjoys playtime, she tends to be more low‑key and well‑mannered — the perfect mix of puppy and snuggle buddy. Sassy has been seen multiple times for her eye, which looks different but is currently non‑painful and not affecting her quality of life. At this time, our veterinary team does not recommend removal. However, should it ever become an issue in the future, the rescue will cover the cost of that procedure through our vet. Sassy is looking for a patient, loving home that will help her continue to build confidence and grow into the happy, silly dog she’s meant to be.
