Hi Sandy, This tiny girl is an approx. 4 year old Chihuahua. She was found wondering all by herself in the city and brought to the local animal shelter where we found her. She is about 4 lbs. Sandy is the definition of small but mighty. She is a tiny package with a very big personality. Sandy has boundless energy and loves to explore. She would prefer to be alone with her humans. She is very nervous around men but with patience and allowing her to come to you she does warm up. She could do well with a laid back submissive small dog as she does enjoy playing but is dominant and very vocal. She doesn’t mind cats if they stay away from her. Being a tripod does not slow her down, but she is also unaware of her limitations. She would do best in a home with no children. She would need to meet any resident dogs. We will not consider adopting her to a home with large dogs. She will come with vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and 4dx tested. As so many tiny dogs, she has very fragile legs - she had to had one amputated after a bad break and the other one repaired. Her future family should make sure she doesn't try to jump off couches / beds and risk another break.
