hi Sakura, this good girl is a 8 year old Shiba Inu. She was surrendered to us from a Lancaster breeding farm, with another dog, when they were no longer wanted or needed. She is 31 lbs. Sakura is amazing! Unlike may Shibas that can be a bit more independent and standoffish, Sakura is very social and happy. She has been very friendly with all of our volunteers, easy to handle and just a fun lady. She does well on the leash and loves exploring the outdoors. Sakura was adopted briefly but came back to us when she was fussy with eating / drinking at home. The adopter reported that she would only eat from her hand. She took her to the vet but nothing wrong was noted (or detected in testing) and she has not lost any weight. While Sakura continued to be fussy, the adopter decided to bring her back to us. Once she was back in our care, she had no issues eating and has been eating normally from her bowl. She continues to be a great, happy and social dog. She would need to meet any resident dogs. She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. She is also had a dental.
