hi Ryan Ashley, This good girl is a 8 month old cavapoo. She and her brother were surrendered to us from a puppy mill when they did not sell quickly enough. She is about 10 lbs. Ryan Ashley and her brother came to us very neglected and scared. The volunteers have been working really hard to help them forget the first months of their lives so they could learn that people are good and loving. After a groom and bath, Ryan looks so much better but she is still a timid and nervous lady that is learning. She is too nervous to walk on a leash but he allows us all handling and likes to hang out in a carry on bag that our volunteers wear when they are working with other dogs. She is looking for a quiet, calm home that will be patient and allow her to come around on her terms. Her future family has to have a social and friendly dog that Ryan Ashley could model her behavior after. A fenced in yard would be best but we will also consider families without a fence or in apartments - she will need to be on a leash 100% as she would be a flight risk if he were to get loose. She would need to meet resident dogs.
