She came to the rescue after being surrendered by a commercial breeder who no longer wanted her, and she’s now ready for a fresh start. Polly is timid and shy, but she has a sweet, cooperative nature. While she can be unsure in new situations, she allows all handling, does well on leash, and has shown that she wants to be gentle and compliant. Once she understands what’s being asked of her, she tries her best. Since arriving, Polly has been fully groomed and did wonderfully, handling the experience better than expected — a great sign of her resilience and trust, even when she’s nervous. Polly is looking for a patient, loving home that will give her the time and space she needs to relax, build confidence, and learn that life can be soft and predictable.
