Hi Natasha Rose! This sweet girl is an almost 7 year old Shih Tzu. She was surrendered to our care from a commercial breeder in Lancaster when she got too old to keep producing puppies to sell. She is 17 lbs. Sweet, gentle Natasha. We love her very much here. She is a shy, timid pup that clearly had a tough life so far. Despite the little care she received until she came to rescue, she allows us all handling without any issues (including being picked up). She is a but too nervous to walk on a leash but with time she does explore the area she is in with the leash on - she just will prefer to choose where she goes and freezes when you try to lead her on the leash. She would really like a more quiet family that will love her and help build up her confidence. A social, friendly dog at home would be great for her. Natasha would need to meet any resident dogs. She will come spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and 4dx tested.
