At just 4 years old, he found himself searching for a new beginning after his owner passed away and the home he shared with his canine companions was lost. Like the rest of his little crew, Lux has been through a lot in a short amount of time. While he was described as friendly by those who knew him, he is understandably a bit nervous as he settles into unfamiliar surroundings. Everything about his world has changed, and he's taking his time learning that he is safe and cared for. Despite his uncertainty, Lux is a sweet little dog who allows handling and responds well to patient, gentle interactions. He doesn't ask for much - just a family willing to move at his pace, offer reassurance, and let him build confidence one day at a time. Lux would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can finally relax and leave the stress of recent weeks behind. As he settles in, we're confident his true personality will shine. While Lux is not related to the other Chihuahuas he arrived with, they have all shared this journey together.
