Meet Lilo, a 9-week-old black Poodle mix who weighs just 1 lb. 9 oz., but clearly believes she's a Great Dane. This hilarious little girl is packed full of energy, confidence, and enough personality to keep you laughing all day long. Lilo came to us as a newborn after suffering injuries caused accidentally by her mother. Thankfully, her wounds have healed, and today she is a happy, thriving puppy who approaches life at full speed. She eats like a champion, is incredibly outgoing, and is always looking for her next adventure. Whether she's perfecting her signature spin trick, zooming through the house at lightning speed, or stealthily "eliminating" unsuspecting socks, Lilo makes every day entertaining. She loves small dogs and cats and truly thrives on companionship. Being alone is not her favorite thing, and she'd be happiest in a home where she has furry friends or people around most of the time. Large dogs, however, can be a little intimidating for her right now, and she may put on a brave (and spicy) front when she feels overwhelmed. Lilo is already using pee pads about 95% of the time and is proving to be a smart little pup. She adores people and children, but because of her tiny size and a special medical consideration, we are seeking an adult-only home or one with older, very dog-savvy family members. Due to the trauma she experienced as a newborn, Lilo's ribs healed in a way that currently angles them toward her heart. At this time, no treatment is recommended while she continues to grow. It may never cause any issues, it may require future monitoring, or it could potentially need intervention as an adult. We can provide veterinary records and X-rays to interested adopters so they can discuss her long-term outlook with their veterinarian. Lilo is looking for a family that appreciates a puppy with endless spirit, a fearless attitude, and a sense of humor.
