Kisses is a small poodle mix sweetheart, estimated to be around 6 years old, who is ready to leave her past behind and start the next chapter of her life. She arrived at ACCT Philly alongside Sunday and another friend after being surrendered by an owner who refused to provide any information about them. While much of their history remains unknown, it was clear the dogs had not been well cared for. Kisses arrived in rough shape and in need of some TLC, but after a much-needed grooming appointment and a fresh haircut, she's feeling like a whole new dog and looking like a million bucks. Like her friends, Kisses is still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. She can be shy when meeting new people and experiencing unfamiliar situations, but underneath that cautious exterior is a sweet, gentle girl who is making progress every day. With patience and encouragement, her confidence continues to grow. Kisses is looking for a home that understands that some dogs need a little extra time to feel comfortable and secure. She would love a family willing to celebrate the small victories as she continues to blossom.
