hi Joey, This good boy is a 8 month old cavapoo. He and his sister were surrendered to us from a puppy mill when they did not sell quickly enough. He is about 10 lbs. Joey and his sister came to us very neglected and scared. The volunteers have been working really hard to help them forget the first months of their lives so they could learn that people are good and loving. After a groom and bath, Joey looks so much better but he is still a timid boy that is learning. He is too nervous to walk on a leash but he allows us all handling. He is looking for a quiet, calm home that will be patient and allow him to come around on his terms. His future family has to have a social and friendly dog that Joey could model his behavior after. A fenced in yard would be best but we will also consider families without a fence or in apartments - Joey will need to be on a leash 100% as he would be a flight risk if he were to get loose. He would need to meet resident dogs.
