hi Jasper! This good boy is a 9-year-old Maltese. He came to us from a commercial breeder in Lancaster with 2 other Maltese dogs when they no longer wanted to use them for breeding. He is about 8 lbs right now. All three pups came to us in really rough condition and we have been slowly grooming and cleaning them as not to overwhelm them. At this time (after the pictures were taken) they have now been fully groomed. They are a sweet group of dogs that clearly lived a very difficult life so far. Despite that, they allow us all handling and have been taking a lot of comfort from their volunteers. Jasper is hoping for a loving and patient home. Having a social dog at home would be great for him! He would need to meet any resident dogs at home. He will come neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and 4dx tested.
