hi Iris! This stunning girl is a 1 year old German Shepherd. She was originally adopted out as a puppy by a different rescue. When her family no longer was willing to keep her, the rescue claimed not to be able to care for her now that she was an adult so she came to us. Iris is a high energy, smart and curious lady. It is clear that her family did zero training with her but thankfully, she is catching up quickly now. She does well on the leash and is learning commands quickly. She can get very excited and jumpy though she is learning her manners very quickly. She is a fun and playful young dog that cannot spend her life with a family that can match her energy. She would prefer to be an only pet at home. She is looking for a breed experienced home.
