hi Esmeralda, this sweetie is a 3 year old mix. She and several other dogs were surrendered to us from a commercial breeder when they no longer wanted them. The breeder told us she is a shih tzu. She is 8 lbs. When she is not snoozing, you can find Esmeralda cuddled up with our volunteers. She is the cuddliest and sweetest little girl that thrives on attention from people. She has been absolutely wonderful with us and allows all handling, even sitting pretty through a full groom (as she came to us by matted). We are still cleaning up her face a bit, but despite the serious picture, she is the sweetest girl out there. She would need to meet any resident dogs. She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. The vet informed us that they believe Esmeralda is older, closer to 5-7 years old based on her condition though the breeder insists she is 3. The vet also detected a slight heart murmur before her surgery.
