hi Chelsea! This sweet girl is a 7 year old King Charles Cavalier. Originally saved from a puppy mill when she was no longer able to breed, she was adopted and then brought to us in deplorable condition. Thankfully, she holds no grudges and is putting her past behind her. Since coming back to our care, Chelsea has been in foster care with a local veterinary professional. Under her watchful eye, Chelsea has recovered and is now looking for her forever, loving home. This sweet girl is the perfect little spaniel. She is housebroken, crate trained and walks very nicely on the leash. She will sit for you to pick her up if she needs to be carried. She is a great road trip companion and does well in the car. She loves grooming and enjoys taking baths in her foster mom's sink. While she does really well with other dogs, she prefers smaller dogs or very calm bigger ones (high energy dogs are not her speed). She would also be perfectly content being your one and only. Chelsea was diagnosed as a diabetic so she will need to receive daily injections of her insulin. Once her foster mama got her regulated, medicating has been a breeze. Chelsea sits nicely for her injection and only demands a tiny piece of a milkbone as a reward (she is very food motivated). Chelsea will be an incredible friend and companion to the right family willing to give her a chance. She would need to meet any resident dogs. She will come spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and 4dx tested. She also had a dental.
