hi Benji, this cutie is an almost 5-year-old Chihuahua. He came to us from a local animal control shelter as they struggled with space. He is about 12 lbs. Benji did not have much luck in life so far, but he knows it is only good things from now. First, he was surrendered by his home of 4 years because they no longer had time for him. He was quickly adopted, only to be returned 7 months later due to being too energetic. In both of his homes, he lived with kids of all ages, and in one of them, with a cat. The homes also reported that that Benji did well with his house manners and was crate trained. Both homes said that Benji is a high energy, busy little fellow that is very active. In our care, he has been a gem. Benji is a happy, silly guy who never met a stranger. He loves exploring the outdoors, adventures and squeaky toys. What he lacks in stature, he makes up in big energy and personality. He would love an equally adventurous and active forever family. He would need to meet any resident dogs.
