hi Marley! This sweet boy is a 2 year old Havanese. Originally adopted as a 3 month old puppy from us in 2021, he was returned to us by his owners earlier this summer. Marley's prior family reports that in their care he did well with the family dog but that he displayed separation anxiety and had accidents in the crate. Sadly, after 2 years without contacting us about any behavioral issues, the family chose to return him back to us. At the rescue, Marley has been shy and nervous. He seems to be doing good on the leash but remains hesitant with us. On the happy side, he has been doing great with his potty manners and hasn't had any accidents with us since returning to us. Marley would prefer a more quiet. calm home with another social dog. Because he needs help building up his confidence, he would prefer an adult only home where someone is home a lot. A patient home that will allow him lots of time to decompress and come to terms with the changes is a must. He will need to meet any resident dogs. He will come neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and 4dx tested. As a puppy, Marley had a bad eye that was removed when he was an adult.
