Volunteering

Do you love animals? Do you want to make a difference?

At PAR, we are comprised of volunteers who help us in a variety of ways. Everyone contributes something unique. We all have different strengths, weaknesses, and preferences. When combined, all of our efforts help create a successful goal- saving lives.

Benefits of volunteer work:

Giving back- What better way to help your community, than by dedicating your time, skills, and effort? People generally have personal ties to a specific issue at hand, and want to help continue that mission to make the world a better place, even if in one area.

Social Networking- Volunteering puts you in touch with various people who all have at least one common ground- the passion that got you here in the first place!

Personal Growth- Many people will agree that volunteer work has made them a better person in general. Through hands on experience, many people become aware of the problems right in their own community. Opening this door also brings about awareness and opportunity to become part of the solution.

Good for the body and soul- Volunteering brings about a good sense of well being and a higher self esteem level. Volunteers feel a sense of accomplishment and personal fulfillment.

  • Foster dogs/puppies
  • Donate financially
  • Spread the word about PAR!
  • Sponsor a long term resident

  • Transport animals from a high kill shelter to us (Philadelphia Animal Control to Chester Springs)

"Volunteers don't get paid, not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless."
